Chinmaya Shivam Cultural Evening at Kendra Hall( 15 September 2012)

More than 650 people gathered at the Kendra Hall on 15 September 2012 for the Chinmaya Shivam Cultural evening. After weeks of meticulous planning under the guidance of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji, the wet weather could not dampen the high spirits of the devotees. Cosmic 108 Hanuman Havan (8th July 2012)

The community was privileged to participate in South Africa’s first ever Hanuman Chalisa and Havan hosted by the Chinmaya Mission of South Africa. The event was held to bring together people in common faith and allow them to gain all the material and spiritual benefits of participating in such an event. Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji’s visit (12-15 October 2007)

Shrimad Bhagawat Saptah (23-30 December 2006)

It was a unique and unprecedented experience for the people of Durban (South Africa) when they got the rare fortune to listen to the entire Srimad Bhagavatam as part of the first ever Bhagavat Saptah to be organized in Durban. Under the auspices of Chinmaya Mission South Africa, the resident Acharya Swami Abhedananda conducted these blissful discourses on Srimad Bhagavat from 23rd December to 30th December 2006.
