Brni. Kaushiki Chaitanya
Brahmacharini Kaushiki Chaitanya is currently posted at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban. She came from an environmental science background, where she involved in grassland studies, environmental educational programmes and vegetation surveys etc.
Her association with the Chinmaya Mission of South Africa since August 2010 sparked her inner seeker and this saw co-ordinating Balvihar classes and camps, attending Vedanta and daily satsangs. This led her to staying full time at the Ashram. In 2015, she joined the first ever two year residential Vedanta Course at Chinmaya Mission of South Africa, Durban, under the guidance of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji.
On the auspicious occasion on Maha Shivaratri, 24 February 2017, she was conferred brahmacharya deeksha under the name Brni. Kaushiki Chaitanya. She is currently in charge of Balvihar weekly classes and bi-monthly camps. Her passion for Balvihar has spread to her taking four classes a week at local Primary Schools in the Chatsworth Area. She also assist in monthly Vishnu Sahasranaam Archana and Gayatri Havan.
