Yatra begins on Saturday 2nd August in Lhasa (Tibet) and concludes on Friday 15th August in Kathmandu (Nepal). All devotees must anticipate extra days for flight travels and book your inbound and outbound flights accordingly.
Everyone needs to arrive in Chengdu (in China) on 1st August and plan stay for 1 night in Chengdu. This is applicable for all Indian passport holders. From Chengdu then everyone can take flight to Lhasa to reach on 2nd August after 12 Noon.
There are 2 Airports in Chengdu, recommendation is to use Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU).
Hotel booking for 1 night stay in Chengdu must be booked individually and is not covered as part of yatra fees.
Flight from your home country to Lhasa via Chengdu are not covered as part of the yatra fees.
From India, there are flight options available on Thai Airways, with a stopover at Bangkok, to reach Chengdu.
From Chengdu (TFU), there are multiple flight options - please use one of the these flights and let us know the one you book
Air China flight (CA2531) - departure at 2:00 pm and arrival at 4:40 pm
Air China flight (CA2763) - departure at 11:45 am and arrival at 2:15 pm
China Eastern Airlines (MU5825) - departure at 1:55 pm and arrival at 4:25 pm
For your return, you must plan to depart from Kathmandu on 15th August after 11 AM.
Visa Requirements
Tibet VISA : Regardless of nationality, a formal “Tibet Entry Permit” is required for everyone, as Tibet is a special territory within China. This Permit will be included in the Yatra fees. Tibet Visa will be handled centrally and no individual action is required, whether you are an Indian Passport holder or belonging to any other Nationality (Citizenship).
Nepal VISA : Based on your Nationality (Citizenship) you may need to apply for separate Tourist Visa to enter Nepal. Please check your eligibility and obtain Nepal visa on your own, and in your local country of residence, BEFORE embarking on this Yatra. Nepal Visa is not part of the Yatra fees.
China Visa: All Indian passport holders must apply and obtain China Mainland visa individually. They would require an entry visa for China. Other nationalities, please check eligibility for China visa based on your nationality and apply for China Visa accordingly. You must obtain China visa on your own, and in your local country of residence, BEFORE embarking on this Yatra. China Visa is not part of the Yatra fees.
Fees for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025
Yatra Fees is USD 4750 per person.
Advance of USD 750 per person to be paid by 15th June 2025, along with completed application form, medical certificate & indemnity form to confirm your registration.
Your registration will not be confirmed until advance deposit is well received.
Balance payment of USD 4000 per person is payable by 5th July 2025.
Yatra fee is non-refundable under all circumstances (except if Yatra gets cancelled by the organizers owing to unavoidable reasons)
What IS Included
Tibet Group Travel Permit for all Devotees.
Airport to Hotel (to & fro) transfer via Coach/Buses : On 2nd Aug upon arrival in Lhasa and on 15th Aug departures from Kathmandu.
Accommodation:
In Lhasa and Kathmandu: 4-star or 5-star Hotel on twin sharing basis
Other locations within Tibet and Nepal: Shared accommodation in locally best possible hotels / guest-houses / Monasteries / Dormitory as per location and inhouse facilities.
There is no option for Single occupancy. Please do not request or expect this
Transport: Air-conditioned Buses & Coaches with push back seats for comfortable road travel
Food: Enjoyable vegetarian food (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and Mineral water all throughout the Yatra. Nepali Cooks travelling with us to prepare & serve meals.

Travel Visa: Nepal VISA or China VISA if required, are not included.
Personal expenses like telephone calls, tips, personal pujas, shopping, laundry, in-room dining, mini-bar consumption, porterage at airports, photography charges, drinks etc.
Pony / Yak / porter for personal use and carrying of bags
Special vehicle arrangements for personal travel /extra hotel nights / Sightseeing tours outside of the itinerary
Personal Car if anyone has a medical emergency and needs to travel separately
Evacuation cost in case of emergency
Travel & Medical Insurance
Extra costs such as extra night stay than mentioned in the itinerary, ill health, the cost incurred due to unforeseen reasons such as road blockage due to landslides, snowfall, strikes, flight cancellation etc.
Visa splitting charge, transportation cost, hotel/guest house cost including food if returning early to Lhasa without all group members.
